Applying for the Disney College Program is one of the best decisions I ever made! If you're considering it, here's what to expect!

Disney

Today, you and I will quickly talk about the topic titled 'Walt Disney Imagineering Finance Intern Program for Fall 2019 '. This has become necessary as a result of the very many emails we have been receiving from our site subscribers concerning when the Walt Disney Imagineering Finance Intern Program for Fall 2020 will be out as well as how to go about the application. Find a Disney Institute professional development course by topic, date or location on our Course Calendar. I remember the Extension application HEAVILY indicated that those who chose Same Role/Same Location would have a better chance. All four of us in my Role/Location applied. My best friend and I were the only two offered extensions, both in the Same Role/Same Location.

Applying for the Disney College Program is a lot like applying for any other job, but I did an extensive amount of research before I applied, so I hope this saves you some time, worry, and helps you land your dream Disney internship!

First, there will be a job application to fill out. Expect the job choices you get to choose from range from 'Attractions' to 'Main Entrance Operations' to 'Costuming' and so on. (So fun!) There is also information regarding your previous work history, education, skills, hobbies, etc.

After that, the next step is an on-line interview. It may sound intimidating, but it really isn't that bad. Basically, it is a series of multiple-choice questions and answers. The goal is to see what kind of employee you are. Internet download manager fake serial key problem solution. Before my program, I did some research, and I found it is always best to answer as the customer/guest is ALWAYS right. Another tip is to choose the selection that is the most polite and positive.

Applying for the Disney College Program is like auditioning!

If you 'pass' the on-line interview, you will be sent an email to schedule a phone interview. There will be a few dates and times to select from, so make sure to pick a time that works best for you. Every interview is different, but they all include basic questions about yourself, the roles you chose and why, previous work experiences that relate to the DCP, and why you want to join the Disney team.

I've also heard of some trickier questions like, 'What would you do if you were working at Space Mountain and you had a guest who was under the height requirement?' (I would say, 'Unfortunately you do not meet the height requirements, but there are some other really great attractions nearby you can ride!' And then I would list and give directions to these attractions.) Or, 'What would you say to a young guest who asked why Mickey Mouse had to leave the character meet-and-greet?' (I would say, 'Well, Mickey Mouse has a big parade coming up and he needs to prepare for a great show!)

The phone interview was the most nerve-racking part for me. It was a good thing my interviewer couldn't see me because I was shaking like a leaf ha! But afterward, I realized how it wasn't bad AT ALL.

Then you wait…

After the phone interview, it is just a waiting game. On average, it takes about two weeks to find out if you were accepted into the DCP, which they will tell you via email along with your role. However, some found out within a day, while others had to wait more than two months. I found out in three. Either way, you will be sent an email with their decision.
